Sand and Water Table

Grand gave Jackson a Sand and Water Table during her visit. The kids love it. It took approximately 30 seconds before it became strictly a Mud Table. They play with it all the time but we have taken the "water" feature away for now.

We have gone to adding a buried treasure game that started with cutesy things like plastic beads, fake money, etc. Somehow Pirates Jack and Lauren find bottle tops, sunglasses, Mom's work jewelry and Lauren's binkies also buried in the sand. Jacks considers digging a hole to the bottom one of the greatest successes of his life.

Our Zoo Trip

"Mom, this Magrilla is nasty." We headed to the Little Rock Zoo with Katherine and the babies and Granda.

I wish I would have gotten a better picture of their faces! Madelynn and Matilda were little troopers. Mom planned their feedings just right so they were able to enjoy their zoo trip.

Lauren loved the bird show. They had huge birds that swooped over the audience's heads. This of course is hilarious to 1 year olds.

We all got tired and hungry before we saw the second half of the zoo. We decided to leave the rest for next time and head to Luby's.
